Topman & Asos had quite a few vest tops in their sales. But I think most of the good stuff has gone now.

Ooops, sorry I just saw their posting ID was john1986 and assumed they were looking for themselves! I didn't read through properly and as I had seen good sales on mens stuff I thought I would share.

Can't really help with kids clothes, I would go in store to Primark, Gap or H&M if buying for nephews, but don't know if they are good online for this?
  • Try Amazon.. we just received a red fruit of the loom t-shirt (for his school colours) and it only cost £2.70 delivered (We have prime.. you need to spend £10 normally, but you could buy a few thngs)

    e.g. things like this - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pumpkin-Patch-Sunhat-Bright-Manufacturer/dp/B00NNMLRMW/

Can you not try an out of town shop that has extended hours, like Matalan or Mothercare (I think they trade under a different name now)? We have several around here that are open until 10pm most nights.

  • Small person on holiday - apart from photos, you could bundle them in a spiderman costume throughout & have the peace of mind of knowing your child is the easily spotted one.
In the name of all you hold dear, do travel with a hat. Or a baseballcap with a hankie tucked in to shade the back of the neck.
Does the work rota debar you from jumble sales, charity shops & carboots?
Also I gather facebook can be preferred for local sales of bundles of cheap garments.
If all else fails, buy out there. Stonking souvenirs, more interesting/varied/different & (if eurozone) likely yet cheaper still & still no VAT. If outside Eurozone, take one beloved outfit & have it copied in various fabrics? Fast, cheap, unique & you can ask for room for growth too.
    Have fun!

An idea you may not like, but fits the bill...

EBay and Facebook groups often have bundles for sale, second hand clothes aren't exactly most peoples first choice, but it would mean cheap as chips clothes, that you can stain with suntan lotion / ice cream etc. and just don't bring them back.
