I think that "embarrassing one's parent" is part of a child's job spec. When I was 3, I annouced to my mother (in the penetrating voice of a 3 year old) "Oh, Mummy. That Lady's got a much nicer moustache than Uncle Frank". Luckily "That Lady" took it in good part, but my mother was mortified! (I'm quite tactful now!!)
  • Definitely in a child's job spec to embarrass their parents ~

Picture this, my DS approx 3/4 years old, Christmas time, busy Argus. We were waiting to get our things and had reached the counter, I picked up DS and sat him on the counter he then got to see what was going on behind me and said, as loud as you like, 'that lady's really fat' OMG I wanted to floor to swallow me up!

    Bless them x

DD, having been told off the previous week and told to keep discussions to an appropriate time:
'Look mummy, there's a fat lady we can talk about when we get home':rotfl::eek:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I have tears of laughter running down my face. Out of the mouths of babes. I have a couple of occasions when DD embarrassed me but won't go into detail here.

Am crying with laughter at quoting 'Baa Baa Bass' at the gas man :rotfl: - today we were leaving Argos and a van drove past with Taylor S, Shake it off blasting and Jelly stopped in the middle of the street and full on boogied her little body around shouting 'Shake it, shake it!'

Am also loving the 'did muslims at school' :rotfl: - kids are awesome (she says now hers is successfully caged in by baby gates, and fast asleep)

Anyways October they are not bizarre conversations, they are INSPIRED***. I have all my best thoughts at night. Except for the dreams. Those are just weird. I dreamt I won the lottery and bought an amazing house and my work colleague (balding portly lovely fella of 40ish) turned up with his swimming trunks and a towel to use my pool and wouldn't leave. :rotfl: when I told him at work he didn't know what to think! :D:D anyhow. I will save this useless junk for my own diary. ;)

Much love Levi & Luca xxx

  • Aw, he's gorgeous!

What on earth are you awake so early for? Did you not party the night away with your pals? I thought I had it tough when DS2 got me up at 6.30am which, thanks to the clocks changing, felt every bit the 5.30am it actually was!!

Yay to £15 a month saved :j. Hope you, Luca and Oz have a fantabulous Sunday Xx
