A&L Mortgage 1.49% - too good to be true??

Ive got an old A&L mortgage that was fixed and has been tracker 0.75% above boe rate so 1.25% so im sure yours will be correct at 1.49%
Im thinking of ditching it for an offset mortgage when i move in a couple of months so I can pay next to no interest instead of the £800 a year interest im still paying even at that low rate0 -

Skipton had to raise their rates and break the rate collar some years back. Otherwise the Directors would have breach of their legal fiduciary responsibilities.
Thrugelmir, I bow to your superior knowledge on these matters, and I know that Skipton raised the SVR on their mortgages approx 5 years ago, however I was unaware that they had increased the rate for customers on lifetime trackers?
fcFeb 2008, 20year lifetime tracker with "Sproggit and Sylvester"... 0.14% + base for 2 years, then 0.99% + base for life of mortgage...base was 5.5% in 2008...but not for long. Credit to my mortgage broker0 -
