Advice on endowment

Looking to move in 12 months owe 37k on a mortgage with 26k intrest only and 11k repament but have an endowment at 26k with 5 years left to run and in the green its a unit linked endowment. Wanna borrow 100k for the new place, advice please cash in the endowment ? Or borrow against it

    That is one of your options. The other is to keep it.
    Or borrow against it

    That option may not be available. Only a very small number of providers offer this. Some did it on good terms historically but often the interest rate for borrowing would not be cost effective.

    Unable to help further as there is insufficient information to go on. I fear that will be the outcome even if you posted more info as it would need a cost/benefits analysis to be carried out and that isnt easy on the internet and those of us authorised to do such a thing in real life would not likely do it on a forum given the liability issues that exist.

  • Mortgage payments add up to 24k over the next 5 years but the endowment is at best going to reach 40k , thinking of cutting my losses and paying the mortgage before the endowment matures and maybe starting a new mortgage
