How about Charles Stanley direct or Cavendish Online at 0.25% - both very much cheaper than HL's 0.45%.
I said "a lot". Not all. Anyway generic assertitions are pretty pointless, Snowman's spreadsheet will give charges based on a number of criteria. The point is that HL are not necessarily expensive, so generic assertions that they are should be ignored.

Besides on a small fund, 0.2% charge difference is not a lot (£40 a year on a £20k fund), I would certainly pay that for a better/easier to use platform.

ETA: according to Snowman's spreadsheet CS direct have a £120 SIPP charge. So that would make then £80 more expensive than HL!

Perhaps the issue for you is that you are looking for something new? They are not coming out with anything new. They are using their existing product (which has been available since around 2006ish).

For providers that already have a pension contract that offers drawdown within it, the changes are not significant.

    Thanks.
Would I be correct, therefore, to assume that the RL Governed Retirement Income Portfolio would offer/support UFPLS
    Thanks again.
