Time to exchange with a keen seller?

We have received our mortgage offer, done valuation and homebuyers and instructed solicitor to request the searches last Friday.
We have been informed that the Seller's solicitor already sent us draft contract. I also know that they are keen to sell in order to buy their next place.
How long should I expect it to take before we exchange?
A friend of mine waited couple of weeks for searches, I'm not sure how long once those are obtained, assuming seller is keen to sell fast?
Thank you. - I know I'm so inpatient FTB :rotfl:

I am currently buying off a very keen seller. From what i've seen though, there is no set time-scale and it could take weeks to several months...
I offered on the house 12th Jan, mortgage application 13th Jan, offer received 13th Feb, meanwhile i've had all my searches done and survey. All work has now been done and i'm waiting on one final document to come back from the other side (a planning document) so it's now them holding it up.Without the hold up, we would have been looking to exchange and complete at the end of February, as it is now i don't know how long it's going to take the other side to get the document we need..
