My sister has an outpatient appointment tomorrow but has not confirmed the appointment (it says on the letter one must confirm), however the Doctor did phone her before to arrange an appointment.she is now Very sick..so what should she do? Should she confirm the appointmet tomorrow morning or is it too late?
it also says in the letter, if we do not hear from you the appointment will be reallocated'

I'm a bit confused- is her current illness the reason she needs the appointment or is it something else?

I'd call the 111 number and see what they say. I'd imagine most places would hold your appointment time even if you didn't call to confirm. What have you got to lose my showing up and if she looks really sick they may agree to see her anyway even if they didn't hold the appointment. -That's what I'd do anyway.

Hope she got the appointment today and it wasn't cancelled. Maybe next time she shouldn't leave it till ten to midnight on the day before, having waited months for the appointment? ;)
