Certificate of Cancellation - how long off record?

Hi there,

I'm about to receive a certificate of cancellation removing an old CCJ from the courts. When I send a copy to all of the credit scoring agencies - how long will it take for this to be removed?

Thanks for all the help from this board - you've all been a God send :)

    It should, dependent on how often individual credit reference agencies update their information, be removed automatically without the need for you to send them a copy.
    However, to be on the safe side, I would STILL send them a copy.
    I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
    If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
