I was offered an interview with Lloyds TSB and told they'd do a credit check, I explained to the person there was no point in me attending because another check will only damage my poor rating more. Luckily the person I spoke to said I could call up and re-arrange another interview once I'm on steadier ground. I gues if you let them know before hand it won't waste their time and yours, it shows honesty they you're admitting your credit status. I'd let them know.
Hope that helps any,

I am on the lookout for a new job, but never bother with financial institutions or admin with the police cos they always credit check. I would ring their HR Dept and talk to them.0
