Cancel Dixons order fast!!! ??

Hi, i was browsing dixons.co.uk and came across a phone for a good price so i decided to register, at the end of the registration it is stating that the phone has been ordered and i will recieve a conformation email soon.

I did not want to buy the phone at this specific time, i currently have no money in my bank but tomorrow i will have, i dont want dixons to take that money, is there any way i can cancel the order so they wont take my money!

can you e-mail dixons directly via their website and explain whats happened and for them to cancel the order or give their customer services a ring?

if you go here you can contact their customer services :)

you need to go down the page until you see the mobile phone part and there is a no to call :)

I cant help any further,I am sorry as I dont know what procedure they go through re the money wheather they take it immediatly or when its despatched,I would imagine if I am correct the money would go when the product is despatched,I am sure someone else will be along to help :) You were not to know this would happen when you registered,Just give them a ring and say that you wish for the product to be cancelled,I know you are scared right now but I hope that this gets resolved and quickly :)

I have attempted to change as many details as possible in a last resort, i feel as though my bank account is under threat as they could take the money at any time !

I am currently thinking about ringing customer services and asking them to cancel my order...

what details would they ask me for to cancel the order?

Firstly because i was planning to purchase the phone but not at this exact time, and secondly to see if the site would accept my details as some sites recognize my age and wont let me register.

Maybe it's different on Dixon's, but normally you add an item to your basket, you then proceed to checkout. You then enter your name, address and payment details. You then click on submit order (confirm order) to purchase the item. If you did this but didn't actually mean to buy the item because you had insufficient funds then it sounds like you have been rather silly.

I suspect you tried to do a bit more than just register with them.

Actually i did do this but i was not registered, i added to basket and click checkout, that is when it required me to register, so i click register and after entering my details it sais order received...

I didnt know they would link the registration to the checkout, it was silly of me i know. :(
