Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper I've been Money Tipped!
Something cropped up and I'll have to overnight it down in Dublin, Thursday or Friday.

With the pound so strong at the moment I'm wondering what's the best way to pay for the hotel? It will just be a one nighter.
Pay online, or phone hotel?
Pay by debit card on the day?
Pay by credit card?
Or when in Dublin withdraw cash from cash machine using NI BoI card?

Any advice

Pay by c'card on the day & opt to pay in Euro ... you'll be at the mercy of the rate on the day set by your card provider
Either way your bill is unlikely to be in the £'000s so not going to make a huge difference with any of the above options
Something to consider ... most banks / building society's will charge a % fee for using their card in another country
