Food budget for 2

You should try mystery shopping. We have had 3 dinners and 3 lunches out in the past 10 days all paid for. Just a survey to complete afterwards to give feedback.

I am with MarketForce. We are out for dinner all the time. We haven't eaten at home on a Saturday night for 6 weeks (and that is just Saturdays, out other days too!!) Also get shops for some supermarkets and cafes. I have gotten money off our food shopping and 3 free lunches this week alone.

Its all down to what you buy and what you can afford, I spend £100 a week on average for 2 of us and we never eat out at all.

I am guessing that being as you are quoting in dollars that you are obviously shopping in America which has considerably different prices to the uk.
