Broker do "what if" calculations?

Hi, were looking into buying our first home towards the end of this year. We're trying to get an idea how much we can borrow. There's quite a bit of difference between the mse, ma and bank website calculations. I think is probably because we don't have any regular outgoings(no cards, loans, cars etc).
Would a mortgage broker do a calculation on our salaries as they would be at the time? The reason is we are both still in training and our salaries aren't what they will be after the summer when we both are fully qualified.
I wasnt sure if they could check with "false" figures or not?
Thanks

Yes, this can be done. It will be based on today's calculations and this may change for an particular lender by later in the year.

If you have a letter confirming what your wages will be in 6-8 months then you may find a lender prepared to base it on what they will be.

But it might just be easier to find a lender who is more flexible on how much they will lend.
