Wedding Dress from Verydress

Has anyone used verydress.co.uk for a wedding or evening dress? The pictures look lovely but I am a bit worried about how they will be when they actually arrive as they won't send out colour swatches so I am not sure exactly what the colour/fabric will be like. They also don't seem to allow returns (unless the dress is of a poor quality) as they say the dresses are made to measure. This is making me a bit nervous, but I do love the dress I have seen so am hoping someone has used them and can say whether they are good or not.

Have you looked at reviews? seems to be a chinese website. i personally wouldn't chance a wedding dress with an online company.

Thanks, that was my worry to be honest. There are only 5 reviews on the site for all dresses which is a bit concerning really, and I was struggling to see where they were based.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. Payment comes out of your bank from Hong Kong. The dresses arrived totally out of proportion. Even though I strictly followed the sizing guide the sizes I ordered would have no chance of fitting right. The hook and eye of one of the dresses is sewed on wrong, some stitching is of a poor standard.
I have sent an email and a message on the website but have heard nothing back.

Ordered this dress and another in the colour burgundy as stated and shown on their online swatch chart and pictures. I was horrified to find that the dresses arrived in pillar box red! In addition the sizing was wrong and was one inch too small across bust so it doesn't fit my younger bridesmaid. Also the picture shows an embroidered shoulder strap but instead it arrived covered in tacky bad quality rhinestones and looks really cheaply made. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. All I was offered was £40 off an orde of £218 and told even if I returned them 'they may not arrive at their end' and the cost of delivery and duty would outweigh the cost to refund to me! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Bad customer service. Rubbish products. Unsatisfied customer and my wedding ruined as now don't have dresses for my bridesmaids!

Oh no! This sounds horrible. Jansell, I know it means spending more money but would you consider Bhs for bridesmaids dresses? You can look up which stores have a bridal range near to you. From reviews I've read most dresses are inexpensive and lovely. I hope the rest of your wedding planning goes well!

My daughter ordered a dress for her May Ball. It doesnt fit properly, looks all wrong but they have a ridiculous no returns policy!! How can a company not accept returns. So you have to be prepared to spend more money having the dress altered!! She has ordered a lovely dress from ASOS. Fits perfectly Dont waste your money or time
