Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome to Thursday, old timers and newbies alike :hello:
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
So, today I will:

- be positive!!

Hi hypno, hi all. Determined not to post on here till I'd done a few of the jobs that have been hanging over me. So today I have:
- done my finance practice, would have lost £100, the first loss, didn't see a "don't do it" signal that was actually staring me in the face.
- opened my post, don't have any bills that have to be paid today.
- got my email accepting me for mystery shopping with gfk - thanks Hypno!
- ordered my Tesco delivery for next week, cheapest delivery day, *very* careful about what I order, very chuffed - only getting a delivery once a month now, for the bulky stuff (no car!).
- have phoned the builders. Neither answered, one has a voicemail box thats full, thats not good....... left a message with the other.
Rest of today, I will:
- do more finance practice in afternoon. yep
- got a freebie book about wizards with my Harry Potter book, will put that on amazon. nope
- do the hertz nectar points thing if I can (tried yesterday, couldn't). yep - we'll see if I get the points
- do the Egg Money Manager thing if its still open, oops. -big oops, I don't think its open.
- peel all the carrots I've got in the fridge - carrot muffins, here I come. - nope.
Will then collapse on the sofa with a cuppa tea and watch my fave science fiction programme. Hurray!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
