Reclaiming My Partners Bank Charges

Options
Good Evening Folks.

As my partner and I are currently in a joint DMP we are looking into ways that we can reclaim charges & fees which were applied to accounts (well extortionate fees that were applied)

Over a three year period, he was charged £487.72 :eek:
He had been on job seekers, and sometimes even overdraft charges took him overdrawn, so we will be trying to get those back!

Anyway; whilst going through bank statements we saw some "dodgy" unknown charges under "Cupidbill.info"
M1 = £3.48 card charge & M2, 3 & 4 = £39.99 a month card charge.
= £123.45.

My question was that my partner never checked his bank statement, these transactions go back to July (x2), August and September 2012.
Can we query them now two years have passed?

In December 2012 plane tickets were purchased on his debit card fraudulently which was picked up by his banks fraud dept.
Maybe these should be linked.
One step at a time :)

    Hi Mrs H

    Good move to try to reclaim those charges, it all helps get that DFD closer.
    I googled cupidinfo.bill and it took me to a site to query charges.

    Not sure who the account owner is but I take it neither of you can recall anything about these ? I think it might be one of those deal breaker type questions, so tread carefully and consider hard before researching this. if it turns out is not authorised transaction by account holder then I think it is OK to go back 2 years, but I dont have any experience of this.

    Don't forget the DMP mutual support thread has lots of advice and support for DMPers, self managed, Stepchange or any other provider.

    Estimated DFD August 2018 - 2031 - now 2027 :T
