Help! Chocolate stain on a polyester evening dress

I was so proud of myself when I managed to find a posh party dress for my teenage daughter in the sales and off she trotted looking to her school event looking a million dollars.
However when she returned...yikes! A chocolate mousse stain slap bang on front.
Can any kind peeps tell me how to get rid of it without leaving a mark and worse....having to hand it over to the dry cleaners which will probably cost a bob or two.
Thanks in advance!

I washed my polyester wedding dress in the machine on a silk wash and it was fine. Turn it inside outCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

The bottom part of the dress is pleated. Will I lose the pleats if I wash it, do you reckon?
It is such a classic, beautiful dress which, if she takes care of it, should last her years. I'm just terrified of getting it wrong.:dance:Sometimes I sing and dance around the house in my underwear. Doesn't make me Madonna. Never will. :dance:0 -
I would dampen it down and sponge off what you can to start with.
I'd agree re: gentle wash and then shape whilst still wet....but if it is delicate, then maybe dry cleaning is the answer? Look at the label to be sure.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
