Good Afternoon Folks.
Just looking for some clarification in relation to the fees applicable to different kinds of information request.
I have been looking at different threads on different consumer based websites.
If I want to request a statement of all charges applied to a credit account is the fee £10.00?
If I want to request a copy of a credit agreement is the fee £1.00?
I just saw one template that combined both stating to attach a postal order for £1.00 - just a tad confused :eek:
If anyone can assist; I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks - Mrs_Hutchins

The £1 request requires a "statement of account".
That is not the same thing as a set of back statements showing all transactions/charges, if you see what I mean.
If you want everything it needs to be a £10 subject access request.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Many thanks for your reply
So if I was wanting to request a statement of the charges applied to my account, can you advise of a letter template to use and the fee I should enclose?
It's great using this website as there are so many tuned on people able to assist! One step at a time0 -
why not just write a letter asking what you need, and reasonDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

It would be something like this.

That was written for bank charges, but you would basically adjust to suit.
The fee is £10.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Another template --> https://www.nationaldebtline.org/EW/factsheets/Pages/39%20EW%20Credit%20agreements%20-%20getting%20information/Page-06.aspx
As said there, if there is specific information you require it is often best to list it so that there is no misunderstanding and no excuse for them not providing it.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
