    Indeed.

    And yet still some poor misguided people think 95% mortgages are a recent invention and the cause of prices rising so much in the last decade.

    Not sure about that Hamish.

    Everyone who talks about irresponsible recent lending has been talking about 100%+.

    I honestly can't remember a time on this board when anyone has suggested 95% mortgages are a new thing, or indeed, all that risky in truth.
