I still cannot work out W multis on RTCs. Tonight I had quite a few - the multi kicked in on Hovis and W pizza, but didn't on 2 for £5 meat or 2 for £5 flowers. I cannot complain too loudly as I get regular free Coffee and other good RTCs, but just curious why it works for some and not others.

    Many thanks

It depends on what the person doing the reductions scans vs what they stick the stickers on

eg they might scan 1 pack of 10% fat beef mince and print off 4 stickers, not realising that they are sticking 3 of them on 20% fat beef mince

So if you are expecting a multibuy on the 3 20% packs you won't get it because the till thinks you bought 3 10% packs ;)

That or the multibuy offer has finished

Oh look, there's an mbuy on them (in M) that wasn't even showing on my shelf:(. This one (supposedly) isn't available at A:

Nestle Aero Bubbles Medium Egg (124g)

    Store_8.15px.png
    £1.00 any 2 for £1.50
    80.6p / 60.5p / 100g Valid until 22/02/2015
    Store_1.15px.png
    £1.50

If I wasn't bothering with A, I would have picked up just one from the shelf:eek:.

M.com has 2 for £1.50 (which is where msm.co.uk is getting its information from) and it doesn't say that this is an online-only offer, so I assume it is also instore. Ignore the OOS markings on m.com - they are clearly not OOS at all: I found lots in my store. Maybe just not in stock for online deliveries. Ignore it - APG gets its prices from instore, though whether they will pick up Easter eggs this early (I think they should have the data in there from previous year, and not like it is a completely new item that therefore waits ages for msm to approve before it even compares) or what SELs (without mbuy maybe) they will pick up is anyone's guess. As usual:rotfl:.

Obviously won't be able to buy Aero version in A or, if you do, don't expect it to appear or to count as one of the 8 items.

[Strike]Only ones on msm.co.uk for A are Dairy Milk Caramel, Dairy Milk Buttons, Rolo and Smarties.[/Strike] Lots of them are there but not the Aero or Flake, just that they haven't got the word "Medium" in them and therefore a search for "Medium Egg" does not retrieve them all, having to search in and out on msm numerous times over!:mad:

So, that leaves the Aero Egg and Flake Egg, allegedly, for Tvs M:rotfl::rotfl:. Hoping that they pick up the 2 for £1.50 that I didn't!:rotfl:

To explain, 'how my mind works', all the eggs that are available in A on msm.co.uk, as I see it, and that I have from M, are put onto Avs M. If an egg is not available in A on msm*, then, if it's available in T, it goes to Tvs M; and, if not, then it goes to buy in M. It's very mechanical.

None of the M list might work - I obtain the prices from Ms instore. The APG and T PP highly likely use different stores from me and may get different information - it depends on what they have in their stores and on how well or not they do their jobs. Unfortunately, they are extremely unlikely to be autistic and, therefore, they miss things. If I become aware of something on "Avs M" failing to work on APG - and thus no 10% is available - then it would go to Tvs M, if available in T and, if fails there, then it goes to 'buy in M'. (Or straight to 'buy in M' if not available in T.) That's roughly how it works - if doesn't work on APG, then may as well just buy in M anyway if T PP is just a price match, unless you have cond.spends or M is miles and miles away.

*As far as I can see - let me know if you see either the Aero or the Flake 'medium' eggs on msm.co.uk.

    :o

Fingers crossed. Night all-you sound like such a friendly bunch!

Oooh, I seemed to have a decent APG back but not wholly sure or how?! Anyway here are the deets -think this is the right thing to post:

W multi's work on fresh food RTC plus on the health supplements I have bought. Shame that they are changing the free coffee t & c's soon! Have to buy a bit to eat in the cafes kicking in soon but don't think it affects stores without cafes.
