Good morning everyone. Did everyone sleep well?
I have to find a present for OH goddaughter today. 4 year old. Have no idea what to get as I am so boy orientated
Her mother has a panic at anything crafty and felt tips are banned in their house. Finding it difficult as that's all I played with as a child.
Anyone got any ideas please
Princesses? Peppa pig? Doc Mcstuffin? Sophia the first? My niece of a similar age loves all those:)
Loads of dress up costumes in @ yesterday for princesses.
argos clearance has a few Sophia the first things in

Anything "frozen" is in at the moment. They do a few games in the theme (Ludo etc). 4 year old girls tend to like dolls, teddys, dress up. What about the washable felt pens that crayola do? Would they be allowed? Or some sort of etch a sketch? So still creative, but no mess0 -

Savvy you do make me smile when you buy things only to find out that people have ate ithem.I have visions of you sneaking around hiding stuff on top of cupboards and taping up the fridge :rotfl:
VT.....such a lovely post. Clearing up personal belongings after a bereavement can be bittersweet but it sounds as if you got the balance exactly right. Hope your progress continues in the same vein:T
And FC:A I hope the sun is shining for you today and you can get outside in the fresh air. It will lift your spirits:A
Thanks. No sun sadly but you can't be down for long when you're awakened at 7 am with the news that we're nearly out of squeezy jam. Not quite a childline offence but it's been noted that's its not even on my shopping list:rotfl::rotfl:
I'm giving shopping a miss today. I dislike Sunday shopping. It always feels like everyone is rushing and it would mean taking at least one child. I will go tomorrow when it's quiet instead. The squeezy jam can wait0 -
Good morning all! Hope everyone is well and gets to enjoy a lovely sunny day.
I've not set foot in a supermarche for over a week due to RL and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms. Most would think it sad that you look forward to being able to wander around checking prices! This is why I love this thread. You 'get' me. And I feel I get withdrawal symptoms from you lot too if I don't know how slim tweets and SFSB are today, how many cigarettes bubbs has not smoked, how many hours aau has not slept. Nanny's posts always make me feel calm and SSM's post make me giggle. And I love Snap's pics. And Savvy's posts I love for so many reasons. And I apologise that it's probably driving him mad that I start every sentence with 'and'. Sorry Savvy. And (:rotfl:) DM & David. I just never seem to be up late enough to talk with but love their antics.
I guess what I'm saying is I lurk more than post because I like to read every post from everyone, as each is important to me, and that takes time. Of course we come for the glitches, but we stay for so many other reasons.
Well, that's my essay for today. I'm now going to attempt some tidying whilst contemplating Munqui's LBM.
Have a great day everyone.
I just popped in to say hello and thank some OP's (although not sure who sorry,) and post some results from yesterday, but this was the first post I read, and I just thought it was wonderful. :T Says everything. :A

I sincerely hope he doesn't know you've said that :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Happy Sunday everyone.
I had a lovely day yesterday. Drove to London at 7.00a.m. ( got there at 10.00). First we went to Roman road market in the east End. Its a brilliant market with loads of high street labels at stupid prices. i got some lovely Top Shop black trousers for £5, a Primark coat for £5.00, an ASOS dress for £5.00 and a Top shop Dress for £15.00. there are loads of stalls with same but about 3 have really good labels and lovely things. DD also got 3 lovely things. Then we drove to Brockley in South East London where DS and his wife moved recently. They rent a bottom half of a house near a lovely park where you can see right across London.
We spent 2 hours helping them clear the garden ( its obviously been neglected for years) and they were unsure what was weeds and what was plants. It had some lovely shrubs under all the ivy and we made a great start.
Then they took us for a lovely late lunch near their home and we got home about 9.00p.m.
Exhausted now especially as a friend from years ago rang me from Australia this morning at 5.15 by mistake!!
Now to do some of my own garden before it rains.0 -
but they don't show on msm:)
Oooh interesting thanks:D;)
I've a c&c to pick up at 11am so I'm nervously watching what's happening. My a.com, and msm when signed in still have the candles at £4 straight. Don't really want to pay that much but at least I'll get the value spent back in evouchers when they compare, which they should, I hope.
It's only a game
