Going well so far with my cakes.
First 12 came out fine and it's gone downhill from there (the kids won't moan, they get to eat the disasters!)

I've got blue, black, white and green fondant icing and some brown chocolate icing, just trying to work out what I can make from them.
Something as easy as ladybirds would be a start :D
I'm debating going to the shop and getting some yellow and making bumblebees :D

I am still in the Marks premium club (Ive got a Marks credit card but no current account) which has been £15 per month for years but today we got a mailing which says from April 17th the fee is going up to £20 a month

we do though have the option of either cancelling altogether or of taking the worldwide family travel insurance element off which would bring the fee down to £10 a month - retaining all of the benefits of being in the Marks Premium club except for the travel insurance.

Removing the travel insurance part is possible I suppose if you don't travel at all, and/or don't go beyond Europe or if you only do one trip a year so need only one off insurance.

Also I suppose this is an option for anyone having travel insurance anyway as part of their current account package with a monthly fee eg Halifax current account or the Nationwide one (don't know if its a worldwide family insurance though?)

The Premium club send me each year
    48 hot drink vouchers worth £2.65 each = £127.20
    a birthday afternoon tea voucher = £10 or £11
£10 or £15 vouchers for various departments through the year = £60
plus family and friend discount vouchers worth 20% off and other discounts and extra points vouchers throughout the year.

so these alone are more than the £10 a month and if you do quite a bit of marks shopping and use the discount codes they send then you more than cover the £20 a month cost.

Good morning, what's the deal with the toilet rolls please.

£10 month for hot drinks at work is outrageous! They tried this with my OH. He now just beings in the tea and coffee for the office to use, costs a lot less than £10

Just a good comparison, maybe they are comparing to inferior ones at Tesco, not sure. It's these ones

Also in the post this morning 2 vouchers from Chicago Town pizza from a twitter win earlier in the week - I really need to make a chart -

These came by signed for post - no idea why, only about £6 in value - they could have sent me an extra voucher if they had used normal 1st class post

one is for the new doughballs which are £2 in both Asda and Tesco so these will be good for sada v !!!!!! shops.

The other is for the takeaway pizza - it says on it the new medium sized but I thought there was just one size - can anyone confirm this?

looking on mysupermarket its showing as £4 in !!!!!! and less in Sada so this would be good for the shop list I started on Wednesday - I was even less convinced about mys prices then.

The odd thing is the MOC is for £2.99 which is about right but why is the Tesco price so out of line?

This shopping list was a 2 curry/2 flatbread curryshop plus 4 cashback items shop plus covent garden and un bongo.
But since then I got conditional spends for a £20 and £30 shop - I could possibly get to the £20 easily enough - maybe the £30 one if I could find cat food that Asda does not sell.
    so far I have
    £6 cond spend
    £3 cond spend
    £2.99 chiciago town MOC
    £1 covent garden
    £9.odd last weeks TPP

Sadly un bongo sees to have gone up as have the popchips on Shopotize

so it all looks good - just going to re check the list now - has anyone got any suggestions.
