Good morning all, cloudy here today but have put the towels on the line, they might even dry :D

Had a bonfire yesterday to get rid of the woody garden waste, ended up pulling loads of ivy off the fence too! Put the lovely ashes on the compost heap today, hopefully that will soon get warm enough to process the stuff in it, I love home made compost :D

Do you sieve the compost that comes out of the bottom of your heap - I try to save the worms and put them back into the top again :)

    Good morning :)

Panicked yesterday about reports of the toilet rolls not working anymore  I checked MSM which indeed showed a price of £1.75 for Tosco :( However today they are back to £1 again so should be working :j

Good morning, what's the deal with the toilet rolls please.

£10 month for hot drinks at work is outrageous! They tried this with my OH. He now just beings in the tea and coffee for the office to use, costs a lot less than £10
Pan drawers in 2016 £1500 needed.

I shovel mine into the wheelbarrow then just go through it picking out any big bits and throwing them back into the compost bin. I've been doing that this week and can't believe how many worms are in it (I just love a nice wriggly worm!). Some went back in the compost bin and others went into the veg bed.

I'm going to try to stagger my planting a bit better this year in the hope that it doesn't all come at once.

I will have to next time because some idiot has been putting in egg shells - whole!! But not normally. It is alive with worms and various other insects anyway so ot a problem :D

Is it wrong to be getting excited about running my hands through the gorgeous loamy compost :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Probably won't even be taking from it this year anyway as emptied it last year!

When we emptied the compost bin at the allotment last year we had to pick out bits of paint  some idiot had used the painted side of a door to line the base of it :wallbash:

OMG, how awful! I think I would have been tempted to be rid of the whole lot if it had paint in it! And why on earth did they line the base of it
