Was only a matter of time I guess.
I had read elsewhere some stores had been overriding for a while so it must have been in the pipeline. Zippy will be disappointed....
My store have been over riding if a certain staff member is on. He knows me well ( we are on 1st name terms ) and we actually jok about it. He knows some of the great shops I've had over the last year. But their reductions can still be great especially if you go about 7.30 - 8.00. Ive had some lovely meat bargains.0 -

I know that now! It was Virgin - I did a speedtest and our 50 meg broadband was running at 0.29 meg! Called the help line and got through to India, the idiot on the other end asked me to go wired to do a speedtest after he had reset the line, then told him I was doing a speed test to check the wireless was OK (hoping for a spare router!) and he had the cheek to tell me that wireless was considerably slower than wired - what a load of guff! Wireless can be slightly slower, but definitely not considerably slower these days, and I told him as much :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

in case this hasn't been mentioned yet, for those who shop at Waitrose, with effect from March 1st, they have finally stopped the multi-buys taking off the full value if you are purchasing reduced items.
Sorry if I'm repeating something already said.
I heard it elsewhere too. How are they going to do it ? If it's automatic at the till then they would have to re-programme their entire till system, and if it was that easy surely Morries and Tosco would have done it by now.0 -
