No, we had a smart meter installed 3 years ago (British Gas made us) and our boiler was replaced in 2011. It honestly makes no sense for it to all of sudden jump up by over £100 each month since December.
now thats bizarre. My bill jumped to over £200 for 1 month mid dec to mid jan. Just me in a 3 bed house but heating on timer and not on long....way way over what I normally pay and new meter installed when i moved in mid November (no heating then as I had new rads and boiler installed) think I'll have to contact B Gas

so if i bought 3x 100g stiltons costing £3 but it sees 3 x £3.90 is that an apg for £5.40 plus 10% or do i need to be quiet and go back to reading lol

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    I wish

    APG sees £3.90 v £2.10

    so gives £1.80 plus 10% of £2.10 =£2.01 so 3 for cost of 99p.

    Your receipt would look like

    100g stilton £1.30
    100g stilton £1.30
    100g stilton £1.30
    3 for £3 cheese -90p

the apg doesn't know about the offer and sees

    100g stilton £1.30 compared to 70p
    100g stilton £1.30 compared to 70p
    100g stilton £1.30 compared to 70p

    total for comparison £3.90 v ( £2.10 -10% ) £1.89
A difference of £2.01 - Tosco would have been cheaper.

Just remember that the APG computer just gets a list of the barcodes from your receipt (plus time/date etc) - no prices or discounts at all :)

  • You're a real bundle of fun today maybe if you actually looked at the other participants posts you could make an educated decision and more importantly if you saw Ruths posts you would see what a wonderful young lady she is accepting defeat gracefully xxx

so really who looks silly now xxx

One post today and you jump on it. How judgemental and uneducated of you just because someone has a different point of view...Now who's silly !

My point was aimed at people like you who don't seem to want to accept it and come up with OTT accusations of cheating , conspiracy theories and the like. Unsurprisingly, you won't find anything to suggest I said she wasn't accepting it gracefully. Less emotion and more common sense should prevail !

My A's has a new foodbank donation point just inside the entrance.

I was very amused to see a whole bag of Strawberry Udi's in there as I walked in today :rotfl:
