I'm off out on the hunt for some good seed potatoes and onion sets.
I usually visit Sam Turners in Northallerton.. It's a fabulous place and sells everything from tractors to giant buckets of Persil. They give you a little bit discount for cash and the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. It's based in a giant warehouse and it's clientele are usually wearing mucky wellies and ancient Barbours.:rotfl: I just love the smell of the place and can get lost for hours looking at stuff I never even knew existed.:D
Excited:)

Morning all. Thanks for the new thread Dave. Not been on much this week as real life is hectic. Saving loads £ as no time to shop. Because of this freezer is going down nicely. Tidied all my food stash last week so know exactly what is where and what I need to use up and top up. Still trying to use from cupboards. Off to A for some essential bits soon. Need to try and scroll back to see what is working still. Hope you all have a lovely Saturday. I have some good news. We are breaking ground on our new house build next week so a glitch on building equipment - stone, roof tiles, concrete would be wonderful.
Oh Elaine.......great news on the house front:T:T:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

Happy Valentine's Day you lovely lot of beggars, happy birthday if your celebrating, happy half term if you have kiddies and happy weekend if you don't:D
I had to get up early to say goodbye to a student this morning so I decided I may as well do something constructive- I've started washing down all the skirtings in prep for painting the hallway this weekend (thanks Wickes)
I've already stopped for a tea break and to scoff some cereal so I'm not actually getting very far lol

Thanks DM for the new thread
Quiet day on the cards today.
OH is on the bus so it's a lazy day for DD and I.
Quite enjoyed 50 Shades last night. Nothing earth shattering, but it was good enough....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Off on my road trip shortly to visit Mrs Fourp
Who is doing really well now she is being fed pureed food :T
Was told off last night via the phone by Fourp regarding something totally trivial & I got so angry :mad:
Will try to lose my 'grudge' & be charm itself when we meet up at the hospital:o:o
Good luck Snap, take a deep breath and think what he is going through.
Do something to disarm him, take him a single red rose or a box of chocolatesWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
