Morning all.

I can beat Emma and PD - I've known my best friend, she who lives in Scottishland now, since I was 21 months old! We lived in adjoining semis and being older, I've known her since she was born. Her mum still lives in the same house.

Thanks VT for your kind words the other day. The last couple of weeks have been a bit of a blur as there was so much to do, but at least it kept me busy. More time to sit and think now.

VT if you have the time to wait and sort out your dads estate think about waiting It is such a harrowing job It was many years ago but my mother lived in a council house and we had to have it cleared within 3 weeks or had to pay the full months rent which we did not have We all lived from week to week back then Glad it so much better for us now

Aww thank you. I would love it if she was still here. We have spoken loads on the phone lately. Both she and her eldest daughter have had birthdays this month, which got a bit neglected but I'll be seeing her at Easter, so we'll do our celebrating then.
You're so right about keeping busy. If I have a lot to do, it will get done but if only one or two things I keep putting them off. I didn't do anything at all yesterday. Is it wrong to admit I just liked the peace of having the house to myself and not having to think about anyone else for a little while
