I was but the internet went down so I couldn't moan about being awake at 4 in the morning and not being able to sleep - it said it was a connectivity issue, did a shut down, which took ages as it had an update, did a restart but that didn't sort things out.
It wanted me to re set the modem - as if
wrote a note for OH to fix in the morning and then the internet came back again by itself

I went back to bed anyway and now I am suffering for it, I will be like the walking dead this afternoon

But it answered the question as to what computers get up to in the small hours - doing updates and loosing connectivity and generally slacking ...

I had problems this morning too, system wanting to update when I was busy  I made it wait 4 hours :D :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Afternoon :D

We all went to harvester for MG's birthday, and what a disappointment :( We had one meal removed from the bill because it was inedible, nearly everyone left food on their plates and even the kids were struggling- one burnt her tongue because they brought out scalding hot chips on a kids meal :(

And to top it all off, they've inexplicably made the car park pay and display  Not for any sensible reason that we could make out, because there's no way you would park there to go somewhere else, because there's nothing around

Dunno if you guys already know but just shouting out, for the past few years ive been extending the life of my CC points by calling the CC line.

They just cancel the vouchers then the points get added to the next statement. I rang today as some expire at the end of the month and I usually ask to get the whole years worth of points extended.

But the guy I spoke to today said they've stopped doing it :( I explained my back situation and he took pity on me and cancelled the points that are due to expire at the end of this month but looks like im gonna have to start spending em from now on.

buy something cheap with them if you want to keep them. eg the cinema tickets they just done. I used a £20 voucher for a £10 spend. but I could have just have easily just spent £2.50 on 1 ticket. the difference gets added back to your account
