Technically they are a savoury snack - I believe to be classified as crisps they have to be sliced potato which Pringles are not, they are made with dehydrated potato... why do I know that and why does that make a difference ... we should be more worried about the drugs that they add to them that mean once opened you have to eat the lot and can't stop yourself.

Sounds rammy to me ... but Ben & Jerrys Peanut Butter Cup 500ml now has £1.70 on Shopit. £4.49 A v £2.24 T or £2 M (if M matches), so 34p (T) or 10p (M) after APG.

Legally, Pringles are crisps. Crisps are one of the few foods that attract VAT, and after a lengthy court battle followed by an appeal, it has been decided that these snacks, even though are less than 50% potato, made from dough, baked in an oven, melt in the mouth and taste nothing like a crisp, are, in fact a crisp. And seeing as these cost 1.50 through the till, VAT is paid per tube of 30p, so it is actually costing Asda a daft amount in tax alone, let alone the product. So, well done everyone, we are helping to fund the country by our glitchy cheap crisp purchasing!!!!0 -
Results in from 11.30 shop, as expected still glitching.
Thank you ops and reporters, time for bed!
