Not a good experience in Sada today. Daughter in law was given by her Auntie some of those smiley face vouchers they sometimes give you if things go wrong, she had about 5, probably worth £1. SA refused to take them, and was quite brusque about it. Called the manager who said they could not be honoured as they were not signed by a Sada colleague. Their attitude was not pleasant and left poor daughter in law feeling embarrassed and confused. The manager took the vouchers off her!
She had a restless 2 year old with her, so decided to give up and go home. She was so upset that she phoned me. I phoned the store, but as I got no answer I phoned head office, and got nowhere! they insisted the vouchers had to be signed to be valid, and no matter how many times I told them that was a training issue for them to resolve they didn't budge. So poor DIL lost her money, and no offer of any compensation.
I am still cross about it and have written a letter of complaint to HO.

Sorry, just had to rant a bit.

Great, many thanks. In the process getting the underfloor heating removed and radiators in. At the moment each room has a thermostat connected to the underfloor heating. So I can have some rooms hotter or colder than others. Wanted to be able to do the same with radiators too, although there would be no point if it wouldn't save any money.

    Thanks for your replies.

Why are you getting rid of underfloor heating?
