    Oh my goodness you are lucky it didn't catch fire. :eek:

    Like I was lucky to catch the kettle when Mr TS left it on the gas. :o

    Is the tin ok to use again or is it beyond saving?

    Tin is perfect:)
    :rotfl: I know I shouldn't laugh, it's just the way you describe it. I'm winging it at the moment. I've been craving banana and walnut muffins so just chucked a load of ingredients in a bowl hoping it will work. Just remembered I didn't add any sugar though :o :rotfl:

    Slap a bit of lurpak on and it'll be fine:D

    Thanks to all of you this morning who pretended to be concerned over my burnt cake:p especially Bailey who suggested I might like to scrape off the burnt bits.:eek:

    It went in the oven last night at 6pm and I took it out at 7.30pm. Stuck a skewer in in and decided it could do with another 10 minutes.
    I woke up suddenly at 6am this morning realising that it was still in the oven:o.
    It had been in 12 hours:o:rotfl:

    You twit :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I do not trust myself to remember cakes etc so I always set the timer, even if it is for another 5 minutes!

    Right you lot, I have a confession to make. I have to BUY pizzas tomorrow :eek::eek:

    Kettle wasn't still usable but looks awful he has even done it again since. :mad:

    I just can't find a replacement like it anywhere seems stove kettles are out of fashion. :eek:

    The only ones I can find are too thin to trust Mr TS with them.
