little question for the elite. My sis is getting a place with her BF soonish and I wanted to make them a 'moving in' box of essentials. Parents are taking care of crockery/clothes horse/ironing board etc.
So far I have some cheap teaspoons and a couple of tacky plastic champagne flutes :rotfl: What else would you recommend putting into a 'moving in' box?please and thank you
How about a food parcel? Tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, etc to start them off:beer: Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -
Realised last night I had no washing powder and 5 loads of washing and no almond milk - picked up an 8 am click and collect - love hearts still showing at £1.59 online but only charged 79p - I think these are working out less than 20p a packet x x

A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together0 -

please can I ask a stupid question.
we have a bit of a damp corner in the study - its an outside wall. So we got one of those little plastic boxes with the beads in to adsorb some of the damp and its been sat in the corner for a few months. It now has a bit of powder in the bottom but all the beads are in the top chamber and look quite swollen and the top looks quite bulging.
we have no idea how these things work or even if we have the best sort - is this how they are supposed to work - and now is it time for a new one?
not going to Home Bargains today - it costs us a fortune whenever we go there, no self control, I spend nearly £12 on Friday there.
I am wondering if I can get them cheaper from Amazon - any suggestions?.
