I read the ThisMan trilogy, soon to be a 4th book out, by ellen jo malpas, I think her name is, which is along the same lines but imo far outclasses SOG and found it really good, everything that SOG should have been.it has a very good story to it and better characters and is far more memorable than SOG.

Not long home, it's been a loooooong day. I had DS2 with me today, he doesn't like venturing to new places. Yup 2 hours and 20 minutes of 'are you sure we are going the right way mum?' (on M6 :rotfl::rotfl:) both ways! and telling me every mile that the satnav counted down.........all 120 of them!....both ways.

And yes, I could've found my way without the satnav. But the alternative to the above makes driving conditions unbearable
