Online chums, long time no see.

Hope you are all keeping well. I've not had much chance to keep up with the thread, so no doubt I have missed loads.

I went to an ex Netto Sada and they seemed to have a lot of products on reduced to clear. Off the top of my head, there were Young's and Birds Eye products in the freezer, loads of Dolmio products such as sauces and pasta pots etc. Protein shakes and drinks, and shakers and various other health and beauty items were also on reduced to clear.

I also went to a Tosco Extra and was quite surprised that what appeared to be half the store was on reduced to clear. Half the toys were definitely on redcued to clear and every other aisle I went past, there were yellow REDUCED TO CLEAR on the shelves. Heaps of vitamins and minerals, make up products, tanning lotions, and half the World Foods were also on clearance. Items I noticed were spicy crisps, various curry powders such as cumin, garam masala, Maggi products and well loads of other things which I cannot remember. I'm getting old you see. Such fun!

In a Boots store, I saw more hair dye and shampoos on clearance. Also, they seem to be having a huge clear out with NUROFEN products. Saw heaps of gels and patches at £1 each down from about £5/£6.

Clinique Bonus Time at Debenhams, in store and online, also at John Lewis. Lancome is on a free gift with 2 purchases at Boots, in store and online.

It was funny tonight though. I went through the hand held scanner tills only for a check on my shopping to come up. :eek: Young SA said "I don't think we can sell 1p items" and off she trots to see someone.
