MHOC you were talking about my fitness pal this morning? What has your experience of it been please?

I've steered clear of these kind of apps largely just because I tend to measure things by how I feel rather than calorie counting/weighing etc. Seems to be working so far. Stomach much flatter and I think my legs have slimmed a weeny bit :)

One app I do use is called Waterbalance. It's a pain in the bum but you enter your details then what you drink in a day and it tells you if you've had the right amount of water. It's always bleeping at me telling me to drink more! :rotfl: And your hydration percentage goes down when you have coffee etc. I love it and loathe it at the same time.

Myfitness pal suits me but I think it would be annoying for a lot of people and possibly a lot of work. I've got an up band which measures my sleep patterns and my steps. This I upload into the ap on my phone twice a day.

It then sychs with the myfitness ap on my iPad.

On the myfitness ap I can keep a log of my weight and I can also do a food diary which I can update through the day. It also logs my nutrition levels - useful for making sure I am eating enough fibre. I can also look at my progress for weight, kcals and steps I've done over a week, month, etc.

The data base for different foods is vast, covers virtually all non branded and branded things and you can even use a pack barcode.

I can also log in any exercise I do - it could be gym exercise but with me its mainly walking, cleaning, gardening etc

I like things to be very regimented and myfitness plus keeps me motivated and on track.

I've had 3 lovely SA's recently all of whom has commented how lovely to have an £8 voucher however one of them called a supervisor saying they now have to be checked when they are over £5 but yet they didn't get it checked today, this is a reason I prefer online glitching x
This SA here also said she had to get anything over £5 checked now but other store didnt. Mind you just to even the karma I'd also done a c&c at same store which was fine so I can't complain. Rules...change like the wind.....

Big hugs rhosy. You're such a kind hearted person, I hope you and yours make it through today x

Munqui I think I might have to go to Woolacombe after your posts this morning. I've been very restless looking around for my next contract and a bit of fresh sea air and long walks might just be what the doctor ordered.

Can you (or anyone else who has been) recommend a place to stay please? I was thinking three or four nights, either self-catering or B&B? :)

Good afternoon Emm sorry can't help you with this question but so admire the way you take off on your own and do things you remind me of myself ;)hope you can get somewhere to stay as sounds like it will do you good:A
