I had two lemon and sugar ones at about 7.30 for my breakfast
. Then nothing till after 1, not even a drink as dentist warned about new fillings staining with certain drinks eg black currant juice, coffee, wine and I went to the gym as well
Hope you didn't have any pain from dentist.0 -
Oh B'gger, I don't post for ages, then it seems I'm getting gobby all of a sudden!
Never mind, off to eat pancakes with pineapple and ice cream:j

Good evening Elite, just back from Ts and found these http://www.amazon.co.uk/LOreal-Garnier-Active-Intensive-Roll-On/dp/B002I9VBDQ reduced from £7 odd to 77p. Also these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Solar-Sport-Solarsport-sunscreen-SPF30/dp/B008K2TI6C reduced from £5 to 50p. There were loads in the Failsworth store.
Then went to Ms for Ben and Jerrys 99p ice cream...there was none left so bought a tub of Satisfy my bowl flavour http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Ice_Cream/Ben_And_Jerrys_Satisfy_My_Bowl_500ml.html sel was £2.24 but it scanned for £10 -

Hi LS,
I feel I need to start this post by saying 'I'm Pip, and I'm a fat lass!!'
Also, I feel your pain.
Like you, have always been big, but after op a couple of years ago fitness has gone down hill big style.
I do advise that you go to the Drs, they possibly will bring up your weight, but there may be something else so, get it sorted!! (PS I don't)
I'll take up swimming again if you will:T
Pip
PPs last time I went swimming other people were asking for a 'concession' ticket, I asked about it and given I am now 60 can get in for half price!!
Thank you! I did get an exercise on referal membership a few years ago, wasn't free but you got to pay the over 60 rate which was cheaper. That was a monthly fee though, and included everything. I stopped, as bladder made it quite tricky using the gym, and wasn't getting enough value from it.
Wish they did just a swimming membership, but they don't. Think I can buy a leisure card and then get swimming at a reduced rate, but its still quite expensive. However, I think I need to just ignore that for now and just get on and do something.
As for the Dr thing, I know it sounds a bit daft, but I've been there so much in regards to my bladder and ongoing issues related to that, I'm kind of loathe to go for something else. Also, it will be yet another thing to declare to travel insurance, although I know I that isn't a very good reason for putting it off.
I'm going on holiday in June before my major op, and whilst its not going to be super active, we are going to some places where there could be a fair bit of walking to see some tourist things (eg. the white house and museums in Washington, stuff in New York and also Rome), and I'd like to be able to do this kind of stuff, at a nice leisurely pace and not be in pain.
I think I'll see how the swimming goes for a couple of weeks, then take it from there. I'm also going to get back on the low carb thing after half term and try and drop a bit of weight. I've kind of played at it since January, but not properly stuck to it, but I need to do it, no excuses.0
