    Shortcrust.. ask Mum for the original agreement, if she doesn't have it contact the equity release company on her behalf.( if she will allow this)
    Mum should be getting yearly statements from them.
    The main problem is the longer Mum refuses to take a realistic view of her situation the bigger the debt gets . You really need to look into this now and at least check out the points I have made in my posts re the original agreement
