other competition forums?

Does anyone use any other competition forums?


I've had a look at some but I am unsure of their security as you need to register all your details to them to enter the competition- there is often no external link to the competition they are promoting which seems a little fishy.


What's people's experience?


Ideally I would love to find another forum or something similar with provides the direct links to each competition.

Why? This forum does that. It's a bit like going into Sainsburys and saying you are looking for another shop that sells food.

I think a lot of newbies come to this forum thinking we only chat about comps and wins, and not realising that there are 1000's of competitions to do here too.

Once you find the comps you won't want/need another forum

Just enter via MSE(note the bold).


Then use the functionality that exists on here to track your entries.


Then do not go off piste, as it were, and enter comps randomly.

I have read the help topics thanks, just wanted to make sure I was not missing out on any competitions.

If you can enter all of the comps on here at any moment in time you'll be doing pretty well.


Most comps find there way to MSE usually.


Current live comps run to 262 pages on the main board plus all the dailies, mag & click to win comps

hi, i often visit/use other competition forums/sites & find
it useful for keeping up with new comps/information/etc,
most of them ask you to register all your details &
most of them provide a direct link to each comp as MSE does
on our main comps board

MSE isn't a dedicated comp site as such & only a small part
of the boards so you may be more comfortable
with a dedicated competition site,
but as ever & always said on many posts relating
to this question it's up to you to find the comp site
you are comfortable with
there are plenty out there to choose from,
the comping world is a big place now

My "favourite" MSE view re "using" other portals to actually comp via seems to be covered via this poll though:
