Haircut voucher not being honoured

Hi everyone,
Any advice much appreciated. I bought a voucher whilst getting my haircut at Leticia Haute Coiffure, London, for £89. I wasn't told of any t&cs and there is nothing on the voucher, not even a date or a web address. Just a picture with the price and the owner's signature. I then broke my ankle so after going to my local place round the corner for a year I emailed them asking about what times and dates I could use the voucher and if I could book. They now say the voucher expires after six months. I am just wondering if they can do this when I wasn't aware of this or told when I bought.
Many thanks

The e vouchers have an expiry date but you bought in-store maybe the staff misunderstood which one you purchased.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

Have you spoken with the manager or person who sold you the voucher? Can you try to get a good-will gesture or something?0
