I couldn't see a thread for July so thought I would start one :) I'm getting married on 4th July. Is anyone else having their wedding the same month?

Yay - I've found my wedding date twin :j:j:j

We're getting married in a hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne where we live. Having the ceremony, meal and reception all in the same place so won't have much travelling about to do on the day. A garden wedding will be gorgeous :)

I've been with my bridesmaids this morning to order their dresses. I've decided on a grape purple colour scheme and luckily they all liked the same dress - http://www.alfredangelobridal.co.uk/Collections/Bridesmaids/7242?ss=1 Have you already picked your colours for the day?

  • I'm July 18th - fingers crossed we get good weather, as the village hall we're using for a reception venue is quite small and we could really do with being able to use the space outside!

July 18th too and also hoping for good weather, just an industrial barn which would be very noisey in the rain.

Starting to feel rather disorganised. Still don't have bridesmaid dresses or a colour scheme!

    We're triplets! I'm also July 4th!

How did you guys settle on that date? We're getting married on our 5th anniversary!

That dress is gorgeous, how many bridesmaids do you have?

Yay!!! We are wedding date triplets :j:j:j

We also have wedding date twins for the 18th I see :):)

We just chose 4th July as I thought it would be an easy date to remember so there would be no confusion when we were trying to book one thing and another. Of course people now keep asking if the wedding will have an American theme with it being Independence Day... :o

How is everyone getting on with their planning? I have picked up my wedding dress and am waiting for the bridesmaid dresses to arrive at the shop. I haven't sent the invitations out yet but will be doing that this weekend :) Have already had my make up trial session but need to get a hair one booked at some point for myself and the bridesmaids.

Busy nagging OH to get the suits sorted out. I can see it being left til the last minute at this rate...

I have no idea on colours, don't mind really as long as everyone is happy with what is chosen.

Suits for the men are more of a hassle it seems, just need to get things sorted.

How are everyone else's to do lists?
