Dmp payment panic

So we are just setting up our dmp and a two of our credit cards have agreed to the plan and freeze the interest, now here's the panic they say I have to pay x amount by the end of the month yet my dmp with stepchange doesn't start until the 1st April meaning they won't get a payment until the end of April, we did this to get a small emergency fund behind us. Now will step change have told them they won't get a payment until then, I could make a token payment this month and then perhaps make the full one next month before the step change one gets paid across. I don't sent this to mess up the fact they have agreed to freeze the interest. Sorry for rambling just panic has set in now after the additional joy at getting the interest frozen :sad:

Hi Angela,

You just need to make token payments until your DMP starts. We sent our creditors £1 as a token with a letter explaining that we were in financial difficulty and working with Stepchange.
