My local Oxfam where selling off the Girl called Jack cookbook for £1.99 - it's a pretty good read.0

I quite like Jamie Oliver - Ministry of Food, its aimed at complete beginners, and crucially is the kind of stuff I'll eat!
Delia's cookery course, I found those good for techniques, but the recipes a bit long winded for my lazy tendencies.
Have you looked in the library? I like to spend a couple of weeks looking at something now before I buy it, I have a better idea then if I'll use it a lot.0 -
