Cleaning Help

Hello,

I could do with some cleaning help. A couple of years ago, I had my 1950's kenwood chef restored. The attachments however have started leaving these black marks... which doesn't feel very hygenic.

Does anyone know how I can stop this from happning/clean these effectively. I have added a picture for reference of said attachments and black marks on some kitchen roll. Many Thanks!

I can't really tell from that picture, but if that's aluminium then this might help...?

Do you wash those in the dishwasher?

I, too, have a Kenwood Chef and your attachments look exactly like mine when I washed them in the dishwasher. I avoid problems now by washing them by hand.

Perhaps it's my age, but I don't remember the problem occurring when they had been in the dishwasher many years ago. Have I imagined this or is it down to different dishwasher detergents nowadays?
