I defaulted on 1 credit card and 1 loan which i settled in 2014..My credit rating is very bad and current provider is charging 4.74% on £250k mortgage and can not offer better deal because my bad credit. My salary is 30K and my Wife Salary is 65K. Wife has excellent credit rating.

What were the registration dates of the defaults and the amounts defaulted at the time?
What is the loan to value? (Mortgage amount divided by purchase price or property value).
