Unsure how to go about asking this so though i would ask other peoples views.
Managed to find a photographer for our wedding day who is covering the whole day.
But we are unsure of whats expected, do people normally also have them inc for the wedding breakfast (we dont know them just hunted google/facebook and seem good)

I would ask them. It would be nice to offer them some food, but I am sure that some may take their own food.Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0

Yep - we asked our photographer if he wanted us to provide a meal/sandwiches for him and he said no, which I think is fairly common. But it's still nice to offer if you can afford to do it."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -

I'm a wedding photographer and this is a commonly asked question
What I would say is that whilst it would be nice to feed your photographer(s), don't feel obliged to.
Also ask your venue if they can do a supplier meal. The full wedding breakfast meal can be quite expensive and often we prefer something lighter.
Most of us also like to be sat somewhere else like for example in the bar. This is so we can have a proper break without having to make polite chit chat with people we don't really know and most of the time people end up chatting to us about photography so it doesn't end up feeling like a break. Plus it saves you having to worry about the seating plan.
Lastly if you aren't feeding them then obviously allow them some time to go offsite and get their own food assuming they don't bring a packup.
I think about 75% of my customers next year are supplying me with food even though I don't ask or expect it.
Hope that helps0 -

At least abit clearer in our own heads how to go about this now.0
