Hi Guys,
As confusion continues in my head...I have narrowed my search onto Healthopaedic Bio-Cotton Latex 3000 but I need some feedback on this mattress as I have not tried it in a showroom. Reason for picking this was due to 3000 pocket spring and a deep latex foam for support. Don't want to go for some cheap pocket spring one.
Your review and other mattress recommendations would be appreciated
Regards,
Peak

I am no expert, but that mattress screams gimmick at me. It has latex 'foam'. It doesn't tell you how much or how deep, just adds the buzz words.
It has 'springs within springs' - again, why? Surely better to get a mattress that has 1000 normal proper pocket springs.
It is non turnable, which I would avoid.
As for the 'bio-cotton cover' - what does that mean? And who cares - you are going to put sheets on it anyway.0 -
Latex isn't foam, foam is made from oil. Latex is extracted from the rubber tree
2000 normal springs is the most you can get in a pocket mattress on 1 layer. So to get more you either double decker them or put a spring inside a spring.
Personally I'd avoid any Latex mattress unless it states how much latex is in it and even then you want 30mm or more to make any difference.
I ripped open an old latex mattress a while ago and it had just 10mm of the stuff! What's that going to do apart from add to the price.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
