i(Don't)PostParcels.com - bad experience

iPostParcels are the parcels division of UK Mail.
Feedback: non-collection of parcel and lying about the reasons.

On Monday 2nd February 2015, I ordered a door-to-door collection and delivery service for 1 large box to be returned to a supplier.
The web site is good and the price was very competitive at £17 for a large 14kg box, to be collected on Thursday 4th Feb. So plenty of notice. I got the email with a very precise 1 hour collection window so all was looking good.

Thursday 4th came and went. Now I'm a home based worker and at no point did a courier van turn up outside our house, never mind anyone ring the bell. My "office" looks out over the road so I see delivery vans pulling up outside.
A new email appeared for Friday, again a 1 hour collection window.
No collection van all day.

When I rang up on Saturday morning, the excuses on the system were:
"Thu 4 Feb, 19:15 collection not ready."
Lie #1.

"Fri 5 Feb, 18:12 premises closed."
Lie #2.

Also at both these times my husband was also in so it wasn't a case of me missing the bell. So, rebooked by a very apologetic lady in the call centre for Monday 9 Feb, "at 1:12pm".

Monday came and went, no show.
This time my husband was actually working in the front garden.
Rang up this morning (Tuesday) and this time there was no reason stated why the collection wasn't made yesterday. I said I was cancelling the order and wanted a full refund. However, the only way of doing this is via the "Refund" form on the web site. I've also raised a "Complaints and Feedback" form disputing the non-collection reasons. Also no apology or offer to make good.

Good note:
I used the UPS Access Point service via P4D thanks to the recommendation on this web site. £23 for the same parcel (which is significantly cheaper than the £60+ retail price), which you drop off at a local shop. Not only that, just as I was grappling with the large box at the shop, the UPS lorry appeared! I got a receipt from the shop owner and the nice UPS man loaded the box into the lorry right then! Providing it arrives on time and in one piece...Result!
# Update: 13/02/2015.
1. Got confirmation that my parcel was safely and successfully delivered to the right place at 10:55am yesterday (12th). So full marks to UPS.
2. At 18:15 yesterday evening, a courier from iPost turned up to collect my consignment! We had a good chat on the doorstep about the shambles that is iPost; he said he was "Agency" so may not even get paid for the non-collection. iPost null points.
