Hello I have a mortgage with mortgage express and they have been nationalised and are not taking on any mortgages, i am worried my mortgage ends in 15 years and there is no way i would have paid off the £88000 of debt. I am currently on employment support allowance for a disability and I am not sure when i can go back to work. I want to know how i can remortgage with another bank when i dont know if i will be working. I am currrently receiving help with mortgage interests payments, and the mortgage is only interest only thank you so much thank you so much

Being brutally honest, you can't.

You have no employment, so no other lender is going to take you.

If you have any money at all, you need to make overpayments to try to reduce the mortgage balance.

Finally, prior to the redemption date, you will need to sell to provide the funds to repay the mortgage which remains outstanding.

If, at that time, you are old enough to qualify for an equity release-style product which will allow you to repay the balance owing to Mortgage Express, sale of property may be avoided.
