New house - When to apply for card

We've just bought our first home, we moved in on the 14th Jan this year.
We've got 5K of debt on a barclaycard and need to move it to a 0% balance transfer card.
How long should we leave it before we apply for the card?
I've requested our names to be added to the electoral roll, this apparently will happen on the 1st March.
Thanks,
J

if you were on at the other address, and the new address isn't a newbuild fine when everDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
