Hi Steven75,
Wow - you've made a great start - much better than me i can tell you - I'm not that disciplined - I do things in one big chunk and then mull for a few months - now I'm in a lull period and have tried to stop sepnding any money - was on hols last week and only spent £250 for 10 days, including travel, accom - we were camping - not bad when you've budgetted £350 - but got bored on sandwiches though!'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' : Member number 632

That's a good result! £88 is better than nothing, especially since the banks seem to have all put a hold on the charges reclaiming. Would be great if you could get more out of them!
And great result on Ebay too. Between the 2 of them that's about half the card gone, isn't it? You're doing much better than me - I wanted to try and clear our smallest card at about £600 this month, but so far I haven't got anywhere! Payday Friday, can't wait to see all the standing orders go out and update the signature - never thought I'd say that, but I suppose you start to go a but funny when you spend too much time on here!!!
Any luck with the job hunt?0 -
Hiya Steven,
Just catching up as I've been away for a few weeks and saw that you haven't been around for a while either - how's things?0 -
Hello Steven, just catching up. Hope things are still OK for you. Don't let any of the banks ring you at 1am, that is harassment and you can get them off your back by sending them a letter saying you want all communication in writing (theres a template somewhere on this site).Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0

Hi, just wanted to say well done on your progress so far, and well done for managing that MBNA agreement. Im trying to avoid starting a DMP as well, i know it works well for some people and if my circumstances change i would look at it, but for now im trying to manage things.
